Welcome to Tanzania Nature Discovery. By booking a tour, activity, or any travel-related service with us, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully, as they outline your rights and obligations when using our services.


1. Company Information

Tanzania Nature Discovery is a registered tour operator based in Tanzania, offering nature, cultural, and adventure tours across the country’s lesser-known and authentic destinations.


2. Booking and Confirmation

  • All bookings must be made through our official communication channels (email, website, or authorized representatives).

  • A deposit of 30% of the total tour price is required to confirm your booking.

  • The remaining balance must be paid no later than 30 days before the start of your trip.

  • Bookings made within 30 days of departure require full payment at the time of reservation.


3. Payment Methods

We accept payments via:

  • Bank transfer

  • Credit/debit card

  • Mobile money (within Tanzania)
    All transaction charges are the responsibility of the client.


4. Cancellation Policy

If you need to cancel your booking, the following terms apply:

  • 60 days or more before departure: 90% refund (10% retained for administrative costs)

  • 30–59 days before departure: 50% refund

  • Less than 30 days before departure: No refund

Note: Refunds exclude any non-recoverable supplier costs (e.g., hotel deposits, park fees).


5. Changes and Modifications

  • Requests to modify travel dates or itineraries must be made in writing.

  • We will do our best to accommodate changes, but additional costs may apply.

  • Tanzania Nature Discovery reserves the right to alter routes, accommodation, or activities due to unforeseen circumstances such as weather, road conditions, or government regulations.


6. Travel Insurance

All clients are strongly advised to purchase comprehensive travel insurance before starting their trip. The policy should cover medical emergencies, trip cancellations, lost luggage, and personal liability.


7. Responsibilities of Clients

  • Clients must ensure they have valid travel documents, including passports, visas, and vaccination certificates.

  • Clients are expected to follow local laws, cultural guidelines, and safety instructions from guides and staff.

  • Tanzania Nature Discovery will not be liable for any loss, damage, or injury resulting from the client’s negligence or failure to comply with regulations.


8. Company Responsibility

  • Tanzania Nature Discovery commits to delivering all services as described in the confirmed itinerary.

  • We ensure that all suppliers (lodges, transport providers, guides) meet the required safety and quality standards.

  • However, we cannot be held responsible for delays, loss, injury, or damage caused by acts of nature, government restrictions, strikes, or any circumstances beyond our control.


9. Health and Safety

Clients are responsible for ensuring they are physically fit for their chosen tour.
If you have any medical conditions or dietary restrictions, please inform us at the time of booking.


10. Complaints and Feedback

We value your feedback. If you encounter any issues during your trip, please inform your guide or contact our office immediately so that we can resolve the matter promptly.
Formal complaints must be submitted in writing within 14 days after your tour.


11. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania. Any disputes shall be settled in Tanzanian courts.


12. Acceptance of Terms

By confirming your booking and making payment, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the above Terms and Conditions.
